Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase.

So, my birthday just recently past, and I got some really cool presents, a FRIDGE, some shirts, i bought myself new shoes... ^.^ yeah sneakers, a cardigan, sunglasses, and more... My actual favorite present was these two little books, a one minute devotional book, and the Holy Bible!! >.< yes I am a nerd. The present was from two amazing people, it was exactly what I wanted for my birthday or in general. The two people I think are important to my life right now, one is such a strong willed person, so mature for her age, she is like my little sister. Some times I can confide in her and she listens, it has been awhile since I have had someone like that in my life. The other, is amazing, she is so strong in her faith and such a strong person, it makes me want to be better as well... As for my bible, I started reading it recently, and it is really awesome! I always wanted to read the bible, yet never had the chance to read it. Do you know how big some bibles can be??? hahahaha... anyways, yeah I cannot put it down, I am now on Exodus the story of Moses wow, this book is awesome.
Why can't love be like it is in the Bible? Just pray in your head, "Lord if she comes to the well to draw water, and offer some to me and my camels, she will be the one." THEN out of no where she comes to the well and offers me water and BAMN she is the one!?!?!? If it was only that easy then I guess the love wouldn't be worth it?? Although it is the love that was sent for you from up above. Maybe sometimes on a rare occasion that is how it comes about? Most of the time you need to work hard for it, getting to know the person, and falling for everything that is great and not so great about them. Becoming best friends with that person, not knowing what it was like before without them. That is the kind of love I hope the lord will grant me.
One of the things that was told to me and has stuck in my head, is... As a leader it is a our job to bring our group to the places where we have gone and help guide us into the unknown. I can only hope that through the help of my lord and my friends and family, I can be grow stronger in faith and become a better person and the leader that I know I can be.
Thanks Kuya.
